Overview

Bilgewater Market (“we”, “us”) operates bilgewatermkt.com, a premium Riftbound TCG inquiry desk. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it when you browse, inquire, subscribe, or create an account.

Information we collect

• Contact & inquiries: name, email, message content, card details, budget/offers, and optional sell/trade photos you upload.
• Accounts: email, display name, password hash (if you use email/password), Google account identifiers if you sign in with Google, wishlist/collection data, and inquiry history linked to your account.
• Email list: email address if you join the weekly inventory list (including via signup checkbox).
• Usage: basic analytics via Vercel Analytics (page views / performance), and technical logs needed to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• Respond to buy, sell, trade, and consign inquiries
• Operate collector features (wishlist, ownership, alerts)
• Send verification, password reset, inquiry replies, and optional availability alerts
• Send weekly inventory updates if you opted in
• Improve site reliability and prevent abuse

Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including hosting (Vercel), database (Postgres), email (Resend), content (Sanity), file storage for inquiry photos (Vercel Blob), and optional Google sign-in. Those providers only receive what is needed to provide their service.

Retention

Inquiry records and account data are kept while needed to run the desk and your collector features, or until you ask us to delete them (subject to legitimate business or legal needs). Email list contacts can unsubscribe via Resend/list tools or by contacting us.

Your choices

You can update wishlist/notify preferences in your collection, request account or inquiry deletion by emailing hello@bilgewatermkt.com, and stop marketing/list emails via unsubscribe links where provided.
